The Lexington Kiwanis Club uses the proceeds from the fair
to sponsor Kamp Kiwanis, a summer camping
experience for more than 180 Davidson County boys and girls
selected for attendance by the Department of
Social Services. Fair proceeds help to maintain the camp’s
wooden cabins, nature trails, playground, and

As a member of the North Carolina Association of
Agricultural Fairs, the Fair Committee and Sponsors in
co-operation with the NC Extension service of Davidson
County strive to organize and produce the finest fair
possible. Year after year the excellent attendance and
popularity of the events brings together the community for
excitement, entertainment, good food and a worthy cause.
